San Camp

San Camp brings you the Earth as you’ve never seen it before; bare and unpretentious. This, in itself, is a great thing to be part of.
The impressive location of San Camp has a unique quality that cannot be compared to any other place. The 1940s safari tents may not supply you with running water or electricity, but they make up for it with other impressive features. Four-poster beds, mosquito net canopies, paraffin lamps, bucket showers and butlers are just some of these features. There are six canvas tents which are coupled with a sensational backdrop, which come together an atmosphere of civilization in a region known for its rugged environment.
Highlights & Activities
San Camp is positioned in a tranquil spot, and one is almost able to visualize the curve of the earth. Do a 360° turn, and you will be met by nothing other than the blue sky. The immeasurable open spaces have such a magnetic attraction that you simply cannot resist. This is God’s own minimalism.
A safari undertaken at San Camp presents you with an opportunity to familiarize yourself with endemic species such as aardvark, gemsbok and springbok.

Get on a 4WD quad bike and analyze faraway archaeological sites in the heart of the Makgadikgadi. You may be fortunate enough to unearth some little-known fossils of extinct giant zebra and hippo. There is nothing standing between you and your adventure.
The Zu/’hoasi bushmen will guide you on your morning walks and game drives. The bushmen give us an insight into their life paths, and how they got to where they are. Their extensive knowledge on plants, animals and survival methods spans over many centuries.
