| General Information |
This is a great family destination and happily accepts children of all ages. Chobe Savanna Lodge is situated in the East Caprivi of Namibia on a peninsular on the northern banks of the Chobe River and overlooks the vast flood plains of the Chobe National Park. The Lodge accommodates a total of 24 guests, all rooms are furnished in subtle earth tones and dark woods in a contemporary African theme. The focal point of the lodge is a thatched open sided main building which commands a 270 degree over the Chobe River.
The lodge is relaxed and informal, with a large lounge, dining room and bar area tastefully decorated and completely in tune with the environment. The charm of Chobe Savanna Lodge, with its sweeping views and wide vistas, lies in its beauty , peace and tranquility. Chobe Savanna offers boat cruises on the Chobe River, fishing excursions, nature walks and visits to local villages. |

Close up encounters with Chobe’s wildlife along the rivers edge is common at this lodge. Enjoy game viewing by boat as well as sunset cruises on the Chobe River. The waters around savanna are renowned for outstanding tiger and bream fishing. Fishing trips accompanied by proficient guides, together with the necessary fishing tackle can be arranged.
The area is renowned for its diverse and prolific wildlife, including the rare Puku Antelope. It is home to large herds of Elephant, Buffalo and Hippo, as well as concentrations of other wildlife, including Giraffe, Sable, Wild Dog, Lion and other predators, which come down to the rivers edge to drink. |

Getting there is easy. You can fly to Victoria Falls Airport or Livingstone Airport. Victoria Falls Airport and Livingstone Airport are approximately 2 hour road transfer from Kasane. |
