| General Information |
The camp at Duba Plains is small and intimate, with accommodation in six tented rooms.
Each of the tents has an en-suite bathroom, with hot and cold running water, and a veranda overlooking the floodplain. The dining room and bar area is raised on decks with an extended deck for star gazing and there is a great pool with a view.
Highlights:
The camp focuses on the incredible wildlife in the area through game drives, which are conducted during the day and at night in open 4 x 4 vehicles. Access to the camp is by aircraft only. |

- Central lounge, dining room and bar area is thatched and on raised decks overlooking the plains
- Plunge pool

- Land game drives in open 4x4 Land Rovers - the camp has 2x 10-seater Land Rovers each accommodating a maximum of 7 guests, allowing all guests an outside seat.
- Night drives with spot light - but this will only be possible once the water levels have receded.

Electricity & Water |
- Camp has a 220v generator. Electricity is run in the kitchen and main areas when guests are not in camp. When guests return from daily activities, generators generally switched off (for peace in camp).
- 220v battery power (charged by the generator) is used for lighting and fans in each guest tent 24hrs a day.
- 220v plugs available in each tent for the charging of batteries only. Hence bring spare battery, charging unit and adaptors.
- Solar heated water for showers etc.

Laundry Policy: Laundry is done on a daily basis and inclusive in the nightly tariff.
Drinks Policy: All local drinks beers, wines and mineral water.
Flying Times: to/from Maun 40 minutes, to/from Kasane 1hr 20 min
Kasane to Victoria Falls 20 minutes but allow additional time for customs and immigration Access: The only way guests can access Duba Plains is by air into Omdop airstrip. For much of the year (usually late March to October) the camp is totally cut off from dry land and our provisions have to be flown into camp. |
