| MOTSWIRI CAMP |
 |
| |
| General Information |
Motswiri Ketumetse Camp is a small traditional tented safari camp that is built on the banks of Selinda Spillway in the extreme west of the Selinda Reserve, 70km as the crow flies or a full two to three hour's drive from Selinda and Zibadianja camps. Here the annual blessing of the Okavango's flood waters meanders past the camp and brings with it a myriad of birdlife as well as all the wildlife that is attracted to the crystal clear waters flowing down the Selinda Spillway. Rekindling the ambience of the old Botswana tented safari camp, Motswiri Ketumetse enchants and romances with its sophisticated simplicity and exclusivity. The camp has only four East African styled luxury tents that are built on the ground. |

| Highlights & Activities |
Daily activities revolve around morning, afternoon and night game drives with experienced professional guides in custom built 4x4. Short walks from camp are encouraged. Accompanied by an armed professional guide, these walks give guests the chance to "touch the Earth" and be introduced to some of Africa's less prominent wildlife.

| Facilities |
Motswiri Ketumetse Camp can accommodate private groups of up to 6 (or possibly 8) guests in four luxury custom designed tents - each furnished with double or twin, high quality, three-quarter beds, comfortably layered with fine cotton linen. Styled along the lines of Botswana's first luxury safari camps, the large custom designed tents are erected at ground level and tucked under ancient Leadwood trees. Shaded verandas look onto the Selinda Spillway and the forested banks beyond.
The outdoor bathrooms are en suite and accessed through the rear of the tent. An open air shower, flush toilet, vanity basin, and plenty of hot and cold water complete the amenities. |
| Electricity & Water |
Although the camp lighting is powered by a solar charged 12 volt system, the camp is equipped with a small back-up generator which serves all of our other power requirements. It only runs for a few hours a day, when guests are out of camp so that our guests can enjoy the peace and tranquillity that they come to Africa to experience. |
