Selinda Camp

General Information

Selinda Camp was constructed on a dusky island which has views over the waters of the eastern Selinda Spillway. The 9 spacious, deluxe tents are situated under chilled thatch canopies, each with breathtaking views of palm spangled floodplains. Each tent has en suite amenities. These include the peak of the bathrooms; a stone bath. Bathrooms are one of a kind, thanks to the “open air” atmosphere. They provide an abundance of natural light, but are still screened and bug-proof.

The main area incorporates a selection of spacious decks that welcome the awe-inspiring views and wildlife that are both regular features of Selinda Camp. The main area is built in a way that ensures guests can view these areas without obstruction. Whether you are taking time out in the lounge, enjoying brunch under the exclusive thatched roof, or feasting on the 3-course dinner, you are guaranteed views all day and night. The photo/art gallery is slightly distanced from the main area, and sits above the temperature-controlled wine cellar and curio shop. An intimate plunge pool and classic campfire are at the guests’ disposal.
