| General Information |
The island is surrounded by open floodplains and the camp itself is largely built in and around the shade of some large Mangosteen, Ebony and Fig trees - overlooking a wonderful floodplain teeming with game.
The camp has nine luxuriously furnished tents, raised off the ground. The guests' rooms and connecting walkways are up to 2 meters off the ground, allowing game to wander freely through the camp while at the same time allowing for guest safety. The dining room, pub and living area overlook the open plain in front of the camp and there is a plunge pool for relaxing in the heat of the day. |

| Highlights & Activities |
The camp offers abundant big game viewing. Lion sightings are particularly good. Guests can also see Leopard, large herds of Buffalo, Cheetah, Wild Dog, Elephant, Hyena, Giraffe, Wildebeest and Zebra. Black and White Rhino have been reintroduced with outstanding success to the area (albeit most are further away from camp), thanks to the Botswana Rhino Reintroduction Programme.

Laundry Policy
Laundry is done on a daily basis and inclusive in the nightly tariff. "Smalls" are washed in a smaller, individual bag.
Drinks Policy
All drinks are included in the nightly tariff, with the exception of premium wines & champagne, and premium liqueurs & spirits. |
Access: Access into this area is only by aircraft to Mombo airstrip. |
Flying Times: to/from Maun 30 min, to/from Kasane 1 hr 20 minutes.
Kasane to Victoria Falls 20 minutes but allow additional time for customs and immigration. |
