Hemmed in by forested areas, Sandibe Camp‘s twin-bed cottages exhibit screen walls which reveal magnificent views of the Okavango Delta wetlands and savannah. The main dining and sitting is mystically covered by an awning of trees.

Highlights & Activities

Once your evening game-drive is done, indulge in the appetizing spread of Pan-African cuisine in the boma which is irradiated by candles and lanterns. If you prefer some privacy, your discreet deck grants you a romantic emanation for a candlelit dinner.
Sandibe Camp comes highly recommended for the unique bush picnics in astonishing settings. The camp’s exhilarating safaris include twice-daily expositional game drives, guided bush walks, and alluring mokoro and eco-craft trips.

Interpretive bush walks:

Navigate your way through the Okavango Delta with a knowledgeable &Beyond guide who will share with you his expertise of the local fauna and flora. Experience enlightening wilderness walks, or get to know the spectacular wildlife.

Twice-daily game-drives:

Competent &Beyond rangers and Botswana trackers take you on stimulating game drives in open 4×4 safari vehicles. Spotlit night game drives are really something spectacular, as they uncover the heart-stirring drama of the African bush in its prime; nighttime.
There isn’t much that could top being poled through the Okavango Delta channels in a mokoro by a seasoned guide. Sandibe Camp also has a modern and silent electric wooden eco-craft named Lily, which makes for just as valuable an experience. While these boat trips are astonishing all year round, the flood season between June and September is the perfect time to go.

Exceptional birdwatching:

Sandibe Camp presents plenteous bird-watching opportunities with 349 species being spotted in the area. Waterbirds such as storks, herons, kingfishers and bee-eaters frequent the marshes. There is also a high chance you will spot the Pel’s fishing owl; one of only three fishing owls on the continent.
