Okavango Delta Region

The Okavango Delta is the largest freshwater wetland in Africa. In Botswana’s arid and unforgiving bush, the Delta is an oasis where you’ll find one of the greatest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. In the very north of Botswana the Okavango River splits into a maze of life-giving channels that eventually empty into the Kalahari Desert. The Delta is a magnificent oasis overflowing with big game and abundant birdlife and offers a wide     range of game viewing activities.
