Savuti Under Canvas Lodge

Delicately positioned within surreptitious semi-permanent camps in central Chobe National Park is the chic Savuti Under Canvas Lodge. The tented camp has only six en suite safari tents, which grants guests at Savuti Under Canvas the opportunity to observe the untouched beauty of Botswana and the supreme wildlife.

Savuti is a well-known corner of Chobe National Park and, throughout the rainy season, it is home to the annual zebra migration. The migration numbers are at their peak in January and February, due to the fact that the zebra and wildebeest rendezvous and graze on the sweeter grasses. Another regular factor is the high likelihood of spotting a leopard, cheetah or African wild dog. The Savuti panorama is the polar opposite of the Chobe riverfront, giving off a slight desert-like feeling from which the animals hide together in the small amount of shade.
