Botswana offers a variety of Fishing Safari Options along the waterways of the Okavango delta and the Chobe River in Kasane.

Fishing trips are mainly offer at the panhandle of the Western Delta. Here you have options of camping and self catering and then charter a guided boat for fishing trips daily, or you can request a package that includes all meals, fishing trips, accommodation and guide.

Houseboats are available for rent and include fishing boats for a more adventurous fishing trip in the panhandle.

All permits are available at the lodges and camps of departure of your fishing trips. There is an annual Barber Run at the pan handle and this is normally from September towards the end of the year. This is a great time for Tiger Fishing in the Okavango River.

Kasane forms the base town along the Chobe River. Kasane offer a variety of accommodation ranging from 5 star lodges to campsites along the banks of the Chobe River. This is a perfect venue to launch your daily fishing trips towards what we call the chobezi – river – the area where the Zambezi and Chobe River meets. A perfect area for tiger fishing, bream, nembwe and even pink happy’s. This is a great location for daily fishing trips with an option to enter the Zambezi River.
